Material
A cozy 9-oz. 100% cotton flannel chamois. Chamois was originally named for a kind of goat leather that’s extremely soft and porous–this cotton flannel approximates that texture. The cotton fibers are dyed and woven into plaid fabric, then double brushed. Brushing abrades the cotton fibers, opening them up to create more surface area which is softer on the skin, and creates air pockets to trap heat and keep out the wind.
